I don't even know how to begin this post. Every time I think about the kindness and generosity of Lani and Kevin's family and friends, I get choked up. This beautiful couple (and I'm not talking looks here, even though they have that going for them, too) took a gigantic chance on us and invited us to be with them every moment of their wedding day - a day full of magic, whimsy and pure joy.
The rain threatened an appearance all morning, but it wasn't until we were safe in Bryant Park Grill's enclosed garden when Rev. Annie pronounced the couple man and wife, that the skies opened up on us. Lani looked at Kevin with complete adoration at every moment in the day and Kevin, I saw, was fighting back tears of happiness as he began this new chapter of his life with the girl of his dreams. The laughter and smiles that filled the air this past Sunday were infectious and even today, four days later, I'm still grinning. It was a fantastic day made possible by a group of fantastic people. Lani and Kevin, thank you for the 234589720357th time for having us there to capture every moment of the happiest day of your lives. Cheers!
But wait...there's MORE! My baby brother, Bobby, is a video production major at SUNY Plattsburgh and I bartered with him to do a little something special for Lani and Kevin. I'm borrowing his car while he's away at school and in exchange for an oil change, detailing and new windshield wipers, he agreed to put together a slideshow for the happy couple. Break out the tissue box for this one, guys. I'm DEFINITELY recruiting him to join the Danfredo Photography team once he graduates college.
