The Fredo Part

I was having lunch with another photographer friend a few weeks ago and we were comparing our husbands' skills with the camera. We giggled together over the large amount of head room they usually leave in their portraits and how committed they are to capturing "the details" (Wil took 349582034895 pictures of 1 lantern at an event last month to ensure he got THE shot).

I admitted that I felt funny teaching Wil how to use the camera because I'm still trying to master it myself. I went as far to say that I'm far from a professional and that's when I got scolded..."If you're charging for your services and people are paying, you're a professional." Wow. I'm a professional photographer. And I guess I'm a pretty good teacher, too. Husband took these just last week. Don't mind my mop.

Go Will! And yes, you are a professional... it's beyond just getting paid, it's how you are on the job. And from working with you, you are a valuable professional! Wishing you so much success on your business as you have so much to give to people.
