In addition to my open bookness, I'm also a really engaged conversationalist. For the record, I'm NOT nosey. I just really enjoy talking to people and listening (and reacting) to the embarrassing details of their own lives. I've been told 2359082735 times during my short photography career that this particular characteristic of mine is perfect for this field of work. I want to let you all up in my bidness and I want to be all up in yours.
Over the past few weeks, I've really started to get an idea of what type of photographer I want to be and I think it's an "All Up In Your Bidness" Photographer. I want to be there when you get engaged and hear every word of how y'all met and how he proposed. I want to be there on your wedding day and cry at your ceremony because my friends are so in love. I want to celebrate your growing family and compare pregnancy stories (once I have one) over coffee before our maternity shoot together. And I want to take sexy pictures of you when you get your "wedding day body" back. Yeah, that's the kind of photographer I want to be.
I think Clara + Eric recognized that when I met with them a few weeks ago for their maternity session. After everything was said and done, we sat around talking like old friends. And we made plans to meet up again for portraits once their little boy is born. All up in their bidness.

Yeah I think that's the best kind of photographer. You're not slinking around trying not to disturb the wedding guests, you're getting great shots of them doing shots or telling a hilarious story about the bride and groom. I think you found your calling, girl, congratulations! :)
