We've been married for almost three months. I think it's safe to say that the flow of cards and presents we've been receiving since last year is about to dry up. And it's a good thing, too, because I'm running out of room for all our cards.

See, I'm not a person who likes to keep things for nostalgia's sake. Once I'm done with something, I like to reduce, reuse or recycle; wedding cards (and bridal shower cards) are not an exception. Yeah, they're nice, but it's been killing me to have these two GIGANTIC boxes full of paper laying around my house since September. But, I'm not heartless...I know that people put their heart and soul into the kind words and thoughtful advice within and part of me would like to keep them to look back on. I'm stuck.

I was thinking about scanning them all and making a book through Blurb or Pinhole Press. Has anyone ever done this? What have you done with all your wedding cards? Is this whole idea wrong? Any helpful suggestions would be very appreciated.

My mom got me a wedding card book that looks like an album and I just stuck them all in and put them on a bookshelf. I'll see if I can find a link...
