This is NOT a sponsored post, just a cool website I want to share with you all.
After I bought my MacBook Air last April, I made the decision to keep my ancient PC around just in case. I had everything backed up on an external hard drive, too, but without a PC around, I thought I wouldn't be able to access the files located on there. Thank God for the Internet...and Google...and YouTube...and USB 2.0 connections.
Yesterday, I started digging around and found out that I could format my hard drive so that I could access the files on my Mac as well. It took a few hours to get everything up and running, but at the end of the day, I had all my old files rewritten in a language that both Macs and PCs could understand. In doing that, I eliminated the very last reason to keep my old laptop around. The thing is 5-years old, which, as you know, makes it a fossil, but I was determined to figure out a way to turn it into cash money. And that's exactly what Gazelle is going to do for me!
Gazelle allows customers to recycle used electronics or sell them for cash! I went through their quick and easy selling guide and was pleasantly surprised to find out that my dinosaur is worth $68 to them. Better still, they sent me a pre-paid shipping label to mail it out with!
