I've been wanting to start shooting my photography in RAW format for a couple months now, but since I have no clue how to use any "for real" post-production software, I just left it alone. That was then, this is now. And now I have a friend named Isabelle.

Isabelle and I had a little working play date last week. Here's the assignment she gave me: Take 294857203 pictures in RAW, come to my house, cuddle with my kitty and learn how to process pictures. Well, that's exactly what happened! Definitely not A+ work, but it's not half-bad either (I think). What are your opinions?

There's SOOO much to learn and while I'm a pretty good student and pick things up rather quickly, I know it's going to be a BIG challenge. Isabelle showed me how to process these photos in Lightroom and then I reedited them in Photoshop when I got home for comparison. I don't know which platform I like better and think it's going to take me a while to form an opinion. What programs do you like to use to process your pictures?

P.S. I'm linking up again with And then, she {snapped}.

I think all of your pictures look amazing! I especially love the pictures from Rockefeller. I need to learn how to use photo editing software (and buy some...). I currently only use Iphoto! We should all meet up sometime for a big blogger party and talk photography!

Love the Rockefeller shots. I use both Lightroom and Photoshop and find them useful for different things! As you get used to both programs you will know where to go for the exact effect you're looking for.
