Happy Columbus Day, everybody!
I'm not really sure if that's something people actually say, but I'm going to say it because I mean it. I'm happy because today is Columbus Day, but I'm also happy because I'm heading over to our church to meet up with my man, Father Larry, to pick out our ceremony readings.
I know that a lot of people really put a lot of thought into which scripture passages are read at their ceremonies, but we haven't. Does that make us bad Catholics? I hope not.
Father Larry gave us a little booklet a couple months back that highlighted the most popular selections, but we just haven't been able to find the time to go through them all. I'm hoping that he'll forgive me for that and be willing to help us choose the readings we'll be using during mass. Do any of my Christian buddies have any favorite wedding-appropriate picks?

1 Corinthians 13 is nice, I read that at a friend's wedding. I think it is a pretty common reading to have too.
Yup! I would suggest the same scripture. 1 Corin 13:4-13.
I am gonna say the same thing. My brother read that one at our wedding for us and I loved it. =]
