How To Be A Hipster

My girl, Caitlin from To Make Love Stay, has a feature on her blog called TILT (Things I Love Thursday). I'm sure you can gather from the title what it's all about: each week, she posts a bunch of things she's loving for the week. Over time, I've found that the things she loves are very similar to the things I love. That was affirmed last week when she posted a link on to How To Be A Hipster...and I have not stopped laughing since.

New York City is full of hipsters-hipsters that are exactly like the ones in Hannah's series. Incredibly accurate and wonderfully illustrated, How To Be A Hipster will have you in tears. Grab a cup of "beautiful foreign tea" and read chapters 1, 2 and 3 before you get a start on your scheduled weekend activities.

Hahaha I didn't know there was a third chapter, I just got to enjoy that :) Thanks! I don't know many hipsters here because we're in such a small area...the majority here are townies, which is a whole other breed unto itself. But it's funny to read those because it matches basically every blogger I read (along with myself a few times...). Thanks for sharing again, too funny!

As a man who is well aware of the typical activities of my hipster friends, I have to say that this is EXTREMELY accurate. I laughed aloud when I saw the bearded man sporting a flannel shirt while holding a Fleet Foxes vinyl (which I must agree is, in fact, a good band.) I'm glad I read these because they are absolutely hilarious! =D
