About Louise.
I love stories. Writing them, reading them and hearing personal stories of other people. My writing is an extension of my jumbled mind. I have so many thoughts and opinions and some of them are lucky enough to make it onto paper. I enjoy life and I get inspiration for the things I write from my day to day experiences.
About Business.
I am the author of two published novels and hopefully more to come. Undies in a Bunch, my latest novel, is a humorous collection of true-taled, relatable short stories and poems. The stories in there reflect an appreciation for life, love, friendship, sexuality and a fondness for the past and present places that we all call home. This timely comedy and romantic layer of stories will keep you intrigued until the very last page.
About Blogs.
Right now, my two favorite blogs are Adventures of Modern Mom and Danfredo Rivera.
About Randomness.
I was born in London, England and didn't come to the US until I was 8-years old. Because I lost my British accent a long, long, time ago, most people believe that I am American.
About Undies.
Howdy, this is Danielle again. I just wanted to talk to y'all a little bit about Undies in a Bunch. I met Louise for coffee a couple weeks ago and she gave me a copy of both her books to read. I read this one...and it was incredible.
Louise really has a way of telling stories. I felt her pain, her happiness, her disappointment, her triumphs. Her book is gritty, real and raw. The reflections upon her adolescence and early adulthood are so familiar to me...familiar to anyone growing up in a urban area, really. While I was reading through the recollections of her South Bronx apartment, I swear a loop of bachata started playing in my head. I really enjoyed her writing style and was able to relate to the content, but who can't relate to love, loss and laughter, right?
I suggest that you all run out and buy her book TODAY if you can! If you can't today, you can always come to her book sale and signing tomorrow from 6-9:00pm at Tequillaville. I'll be there getting my copy signed.
If you can't make it tomorrow, but still want the book, you're in luck. Louise has given me a SIGNED COPY of Undies in a Bunch to give away to one of my readers here! Just leave a comment on this blog post (with your email address) to win.
For more chances to win, you can do the following:

That's a total of FOUR ways your can win this awesome book, folks! This giveaway is running through 11:59pm Thursday. I'll be announcing the lucky winner in my Friday Finds! post. Good luck, everyone!
...
Here's how I picked the winner (and for the record, Wil watched me do the whole thing): I counted up all the entries (some people had four) and assigned each one a number; there were twenty-four entries all together. After that, I used a random number generator to pick the winner. That's the number that popped up and that number belonged to...RolexBunandez! Congratulations, girlie! I'll email you later on this evening. Thank you to everyone who participated. If you didn't win, buy the book!
