The Great Grey Debate

P.S. I ditched those tips months ago.
...and I'm not talking about whether or not it's spelled "grey" or "gray." I'm talking about the greys...ON MY HEAD (and what to do about them)! My girlfriends say I'm exaggerating about just how grey I'm going, but I swear to you, I'm not! It's BAD, people!

I've been going grey for a couple years now, but with this wedding coming up, I'm struggling with a big decision: to dye or not to dye. I have to look my best that day, right? If I start now, I have to do it for the next 3248572304857 years. And what if I don't like it? Do I really want to spend the next 150 days fighting with box dye to get my color back?!

I haven't dyed my hair in over three years because my color is just THAT awesome! Should I bury these rogue strands with a bottle of Clairol or should I have my maid of honor pick out all my greys the night before the wedding? What's a bride to do, Blogger?

I don't see any grey's at all in that picture! But even if you do have some EVERYONE does! I had the best salon for my wedding and about 6 months before my wedding I went in to just check them out and she did a FULL hair wedding process plan. Well basically she said that no bride should do anything new or different with their hair 6 months before the wedding. If you make the wrong choice you are too close to the wedding to change it. So this is what I suggest... LEAVE IT ALONE!! I think it would be sooo much worse if you do something you hate and then try to fix it and make it worse than it is now and then you are stuck. Go to the salon that you will be using for your wedding day hair and make a "hair plan" and just keep thing simple and healthy for your hair.

Dye it and get it over with, Missy!

@ Franny: I like your recommendation ESPECIALLY since we're so close to show time. I'm having my hair trial done in a month or so...I'll get my stylist's professional opinion then. :-)

I suggest going to a stylist. You may only need to do the roots if they are able to match your hair well!

If you love your hair color do not dye it! Maybe I'm blind or something but I haven't seen any gray hairs on you; or has it been a million weeks since I've seen you?
