Salsa Sunday | 3

It’s Sunday again which can only mean ONE thing…it’s time for another installation of SALSA SUNDAY! Thank you for all your positive feedback about this feature. It’s so much fun to do and it makes us so happy to be able to share our passion for dance with all of our readers (I swear Wil endorses this statement).

We’ve had a number of couples (including some salsa superstars) contact us to be included in future installments of this series; however, until we receive their videos, my Love Cub and I will have to hold down the virtual fort.

We took your advice and moved our red chair so you can see our feet while we’re dancing. We also pulled up our area rug so we could be a little more fancy with our footwork. I just want to let you know that it was a total pain in the ass to do that, but if it makes you happy…it can’t be that bad.

While we’re on the topic of dancing, I want to make a little aside and mention that my lovely friend, Christina Grogan from Writing in Life, wrote a poem about Wil and me entitled Dancing in Life. If you have a moment, please pop over to her blog and give it a once over. If it doesn’t make you cry, I’d venture to say that you’re not human.

Okay, chickadees, this week we’ll be dancing to "Mirame San Miguel" by The Brooklyn Sounds from their 1972 self-titled album. I've said it twice and I'll say it again, if you are part of a "real-life" salsa couple and are interested in submitting a video for "Salsa Sunday," get at me. danfredorivera[at]gmail[dot]com
