...And MacBook Air Makes Four

The PC I've been using for the past couple of months to compose all these wonderful blog posts is a dinosaur. No, seriously, it really is. It's so old that I can't even upgrade to the newest web browsers and flash players. I don't even know who my followers are because the computer decided that I don't need to be able to see sidebar images anymore. It's that bad!

I've been been a "PC" my whole life, but since Wil brought home a MacBook Pro last summer, I've been contemplating making the switch to Mac. The fact that I'm doing a ridiculous amount of digital imaging and web composing, coupled with the sad realization that my computer just can't hang anymore, has forced me to make a leap of faith. Ladies and gentlemen, I have an announcement to make...

That's right, I did it! I bought the adorable 11" MacBook Air! I can't front, I'm totally scared about ditching my PC. In fact, I've decided that I'm not selling it until I feel 100% confident about using all the computer's features (which may be never).

I also purchased Mac's One To One Membership. For only $99, this awesome program will allow me to walk into any Mac Store IN THE WORLD (by appointment) to take private lessons with Mac experts for an entire year! I can ask these people ANY questions about my new baby that I can possibly think of. She hasn't even been in my possession for 24 hours and I already have a list of 2039857230984573 questions for my first session. WIl and I celebrated the arrival of our new addition by chowing down on some burgers at Brgr

We're planning on spending the weekend at home to help our little one to adjust to her new life in the Rivera Household. If you have any tips to share about transitioning from PC to Mac, I'd really appreciate it. Truth be told, I have both laptops on in front of me because I can't figure out how to make my little picture collages on iPhoto. I'm also bound to edit this post on my PC after I publish it because the Mac wants to put double spaces between all my paragraphs. I really hate change, but boy, is this baby beautiful. I'm totally smitten...this must be what it feels like to be a parent.
